About the role

Finance Partner to Haleon Business Services (HBS) managing HBS transformation projects & Opex, ensuring accurate reporting, forecasting and delivery of savings.

This role is key to ensuring the accuracy of reporting for HBS Opex, programmes & projects and to deliver good quality analytics supporting the HBS implementation and transformation.

We are looking for someone who:

• Enjoys working with diverse stakeholders
• Would like to take part in the first chapter and set up of HBS in Haleon
• Like working in a fast paced and change driven environment
• Is structured and always looking for opportunities to improve and optimize outcomes

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with HBS leads and project managers to support HBS implementation.
• Opex management and month end close activities.
• Support on planning and forecasting exercises.
• Support with tracking and delivery of savings, including managing project budgets.
• Partner and challenge project teams to produce forecasts, both in terms of spend and phasing.
• Engage with Local Finance / Business Teams as may be necessary to resolve any challenges that may require specific expertise and drive any such challenges to solution.
• Build collaborative and trusted working relationships within key stakeholders in HBS and across finance that ensure successful finance partnering. Good people skills demonstrated by creation of a network of key partners within Finance and the business.
• Interpret financial data, support senior stakeholders understand their financial results, perform financial analysis on different strategic options.
• Complete other ad-hoc and transformational projects as required.

Qualifications and skills Essential:

• MBA (Finance) OR any Accounting qualification (CIMA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent)

Basic Requirements:

• Experience in financial partnering & controlling, financial reporting, or financial audit roles, with a deep understanding of management reporting and financial planning.
• Experience in finance business partnering with non-finance business stakeholders.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Experience of financial analysis, forecasting, planning and decision-making support.
• Demonstrated ability to drive a continuous improvement mindset.
• Strong communicator with experience working in English speaking organisations.
