Branding & Outreach Manager

Location: New Delhi (On-campus)

Role Overview

The Branding & Outreach Manager will be responsible for shaping and amplifying the institutional brand of the Asia Pacific Institute of Management (AIM). This role is central to building AIM as a premier global B-School brand by driving integrated marketing, brand storytelling, corporate outreach, and student engagement.

The role combines strategic brand leadership with hands-on campaign execution ensuring AIM consistently stands out as the first choice for ambitious management aspirants.

Key Responsibilities

1. Brand Strategy & Positioning

  • Develop AIM's long-term brand architecture (vision, tone of voice, design system).
  • Define AIM's unique value proposition versus competing B-Schools.
  • Build strong differentiators around AIM's core pillars:
  • Industry integration & placements
  • Faculty & thought leadership
  • International Study Tours & global collaborations
  • Student success & alumni impact
  • Maintain strict brand consistency across all touchpoints (ads, events, digital, print).

2. Campaign Management

  • Conceptualize and launch big-bang campaigns (CAT admissions, new programs, Global Immersion).
  • Manage end-to-end creative cycle: briefs agency coordination media planning execution.
  • Ensure every campaign creates aspiration + urgency in the minds of prospective students.

3. Digital Presence

  • Oversee AIM's social media branding (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube).
  • Drive content pillars:
  • Student stories (placements, alumni, campus life)
  • Faculty thought leadership (career advice, industry insights)
  • Institutional campaigns (CAT prep, admissions deadlines, global immersion).
  • Optimize AIM's website & landing pages for a premium brand experience and lead conversions.
  • Lead paid digital campaigns (performance marketing + brand ads).

4. PR & Media Relations

  • Position AIM prominently in education media (Times of India, Hindustan Times, Business Standard).
  • Build strong ties with education platforms (Pagalguy, Shiksha, Collegedunia, Careers360).
  • Secure thought-leadership opportunities for AIM leadership (articles, interviews, panels).
  • Ensure regular press releases for major announcements (rankings, global tie-ups, placements).

5. Outreach & Partnerships

  • Build and manage corporate relations campaigns with top recruiters.
  • Create industry + academia collaborations (summits, conclaves, CXO talks).
  • Strengthen AIM's presence in schools, coaching centers, and undergraduate campuses for UG/PGDM pipelines.
  • Leverage influencers and MBA prep YouTubers for brand storytelling.

6. Events & Experiential Branding

  • Design immersive launch events (e.g., AIM Global Immersion reveal).
  • Activate on-campus branding (airport-style creatives, student photo zones, experience booths).
  • Support student committees (PlaceCom, ExCom, PubCom) with branding toolkits.

7. Admissions Enablement

  • Provide the Admissions Team with:
  • Compelling counseling scripts aligned with brand campaigns.
  • Lead nurturing kits (emails, Whats App creatives, brochures).
  • Urgency-driven assets ("First Global Cohort", "Seats Filling Fast", "Top Recruiter Advantage").
  • Ensure every branding effort directly supports enquiries applications admissions.

Key Deliverables

  • Brand Visibility: Consistent increase in AIM's brand recall, student awareness, and digital presence.
  • Admissions Support: Campaigns that directly translate to higher application volumes and conversions.
  • Global Positioning: Successful branding of AIM as an internationally connected, future-ready B-School.
  • Thought Leadership: Regular faculty/alumni presence in media & industry discussions.
  • Institutional Identity: A strong, premium, and differentiated AIM brand in the Delhi-NCR education ecosystem.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications & Experience

  • MBA/PGDM in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 6–10 years' experience in branding, outreach, or marketing communications, ideally in:
  • Education sector (B-Schools, universities)
  • Top agencies (Ogilvy, Dentsu, JWT, Lowe, etc.)
  • FMCG/Consumer brands with strong brand campaigns.
  • Demonstrated success in building or scaling brands through integrated campaigns.
  • Proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders (agencies, media, admissions, students).

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong storytelling & campaign ideation skills.
  • Mastery of digital-first branding (social media, influencer collabs, performance marketing).
  • Excellent PR & media networking.
