SYSTRA is the GENERAL CONSULTANT (GC) FOR PHASE-II CORRIDOR FROM JLN STADIUM TO INFOPARK VIA KAKKANAD OF KOCHI METRO RAIL PROJECT.

We are seeking applications for the position of Geotechnical Expert.



Missions/Main Duties

  • Assist in interpretation of Geotech investigations for design of foundations.
  • Lead in close coordination with Design Engineers for interpretation of Geotech investigations for design of foundations.
  • Identify additional Geotech investigations if required and advice regarding change in Design where soil / strata is not found to be as per investigations on which the approved designs have been based.


Profile/Skills

  • Post Graduate (ME/M. Tech) in Geotechnical Engineering from a recognized institution.

  • Minimum experience of 10 years in relevant field out of which minimum 4 years experience in similar role in metro rail projects.

  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
  • Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.
  • Ability to problem solve, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices.
  • Self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority
  • Strong leadership skills, proven ability to lead a team effort & make independent decisions and be a good troubleshooter.
