SYSTRA is the GENERAL CONSULTANT (GC) FOR PHASE-II CORRIDOR FROM JLN STADIUM TO INFOPARK VIA KAKKANAD OF KOCHI METRO RAIL PROJECT.
We are seeking application for the position of Design Expert in Kochi Metro Project.
Missions/Main Duties
- Review the previous and on-going related studies and data collected
- Review and approve conceptual drawings for viaduct, at grade, special bridge (If any, cross –over, long spans), stations and other structures that would be submitted by the contractors.
- Review and approve all the designs and drawings, modifications calculations etc., that would be submitted by the contractors.
- Review all civil and structural designs submitted by contractors as per the contractual provisions, including, the calculations, drawings, specifications, as required
- Coordinate with all experts / staff related to Civil, Structural, Building, Architectural works and Systems.
Profile/Skills
Phd./Post Graduate (ME/M.Tech) in Structural Engineering from a reputed institutionMinimum experience of 20 years in the Design of Elevated Viaduct/Bridge and Station/Building Design out of which minimum 10 years' experience should be in the design/proof checking of elevated metro viaduct and stations including foundation design, Steel, concrete (Precast & Cast-in situ)Excellent written and oral English communication skills.Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.Ability to problem solve, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices.Self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority.Software: STAAD, E-Tabs, AutoCAD
