Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3–9 years of hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing, with a strong focus on UI and API Testing . The role requires proficiency in tools such as Selenium, Postman, and RestAssured , along with experience in CI/CD integrations. The candidate should demonstrate strong ownership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, review, and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and test scenarios for Web and API applications.
  • Perform functional, regression, smoke, UI, usability, and exploratory testing to ensure application quality.
  • Identify, log, and track defects using tools such as JIRA or TFS , ensuring timely closure.
  • Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform testing across different devices.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium.
  • Automate API testing using Postman and RestAssured .
  • Integrate automation tests with CI/CD pipelines ( Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps ).
  • Maintain and enhance test automation frameworks for improved efficiency.
  • Analyze automation test results and provide feedback to the development team.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure full test coverage.
Must-Have Skills
  • 3–9 years of experience in Software Testing (Manual + Automation).
  • Strong expertise in API Testing and UI Testing .
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium for UI automation.
  • Proficiency with Postman and RestAssured for API automation.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines ( Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps ).
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to take full ownership of assigned work and deliver quality results.
