Automation Test Engineer | Java, Selenium, API, Cloud

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Test Engineer with hands-on experience in Java, Selenium, REST API testing, and foundational cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building robust automated test frameworks, validating APIs, and ensuring the performance and scalability of applications deployed on cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automated test scripts using Java and Selenium .
  • Perform REST API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate testing with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure quality and performance of SaaS applications.
  • Participate in cloud-based testing , covering areas like storage, networking, and virtualization .
  • Identify, log, and track bugs in coordination with the QA team.
  • Analyze test results and generate reports to improve quality metrics.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of Java and Selenium WebDriver .
  • Experience with API testing (RESTful services).
  • Familiarity with Cloud concepts including storage, networking, and virtualization .
  • Exposure to SaaS-based platforms and architecture.
  • Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
  • Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP .
  • Knowledge of test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.).
  • ISTQB or similar certification (optional but a plus).
