Role Description:

We are seeking a Team Lead Field Collections (SME Loans) to strengthen our recovery operations in Punjab. The role involves leading a team of field collection executives, ensuring achievement of recovery targets, and resolving escalated SME loan cases through on-ground follow-ups. The position requires strong leadership, field expertise, and a deep understanding of recovery strategies in the SME loan segment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of field collection executives in Bhubaneswar, Sambalpur, or Balasore.
  • Drive SME loan collections and recovery by implementing effective field strategies.
  • Personally handle escalated cases and conduct field visits for tough recoveries.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly recovery targets for the assigned portfolio.
  • Track and review team performance, ensuring productivity and compliance.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers while ensuring timely repayments.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory norms, and legal guidelines.
  • Share regular reports and insights on recovery performance with management.

Attributes We Are Looking For:

  • Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  • High ownership mindset with the ability to deliver under pressure.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Preferred Background:

  • 4–8 years of experience in collections and 2-3 years experience in SME loan collections/recovery.
  • Prior exposure to NBFCs, banks, or fintechs in the lending domain.
  • In-depth understanding of field collections, recovery processes, and local markets in Punjab.
