Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Industrial QA/QC Engineer with 3-5 years of experience. Candidates will be responsible for overseeing of all quality control and assurance activities related to fabrication and engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and ensure Fabrication Quality Control & Assurance in all production stages.
  • Engineering Drawings and Specifications Interpretation required to verify product compliance
  • Conduct and evaluate Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Techniques
  • Welding and Material Inspection as per the compliance requirements
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001/ASME codes and internal quality standards
  • Root Cause Analysis & Problem-Solving actions for quality issues
  • Support Process Improvement & Optimization
  • Oversee Calibration & Equipment Management
  • Promote and enforce Safety Standards Adherence (OSHA)
  • Supplier and Vendor Quality Evaluation for quality performance
  • Prepare and maintain and analyze Documentation and Reporting (Inspection Reports, NCRs)
  • Perform in-process and final inspection of fabricated components (e.g., Sheet metal fabrication, stainless steel tanks, vessels, cleanroom panels, ducting, piping, Isolators).
  • Inspect welding joints (using visual inspection, dye penetrant test, etc.).
  • Validate surface finish (Ra value), dimensional accuracy, and assembly tolerances.
  • Review and approve material test certificates (MTC), welding consumables, and surface treatment reports.
  • Participate in FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and ensure product performance meets pharma standards.
  • Conduct pressure testing (e.g., hydrostatic or pneumatic) for tanks and pipelines.
  • Inspect incoming raw materials (e.g., SS304, SS316L sheets/pipes and bought out) as per material specs.
  • Coordinate with vendors/suppliers for quality-related issues or non-conformities.
  • Identify recurring quality issues and suggest corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Support production team in maintaining quality standards during fabrication and assembly.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors in mechanical or related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years
  • Experience in QA-QC within fabrication and manufacturing industries.

Compensation: 5-8 LPA
