Petrochemicals: Adani Group is making significant strides in the petrochemical landscape with the establishment of its inaugural petrochemical complex, named Green PVC. This initiative aligns with our broader strategy in the petrochemicals, oil & gas, and downstream sectors.The Petrochemicals Business Unit is spearheading the Green PVC project, which entails a substantial investment of INR 26,000 crore. This investment is focused on integrating the acetylene route to facilitate sustainable polyvinyl chloride (PVC) manufacturing. Currently in the execution phase, the project is on track to deliver its first product by June 2026.
Job Purpose: The S&BD Logistics & Documentation Team Member plays a crucial role in the execution of logistics planning and the management of sales documentation for the export of products within the hydrocarbon manufacturing sector. This position ensures that all shipments comply with trade regulations and company standards.
ResponsibilitiesS&BD Logistics & Documentation Team Member-PETCHEM
Logistics Planning and Execution:
Execute logistic plans for export shipments by land, sea, and air, taking into account destination requirements and optimizing cost-efficiency.
Ensure smooth shipment execution by staying informed of the latest logistics practices and destination-specific requirements.
Freight Negotiation and Fixation:
Control costs and ensure timely delivery by fixing freight rates with a focus on reliability.
Secure competitive rates and maintain high standards of reliability and timeliness for product shipments by engaging in freight negotiation with carriers and service providers.
Documentation Management:
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations by preparing accurate pre-shipment and post-shipment documentation.
Support smooth logistics operations by maintaining organized records of all shipping documents, including certificates and inspection reports.
Customs and Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure goods and documents comply with customs regulations by coordinating with transporters, custom brokers, and inspection agencies.
Facilitate the export process by obtaining necessary approvals, such as Haz Approval for hazardous commodities, and following up on delivery order bookings.
Vendor Invoice Management:
Process logistics payments and vendor invoices promptly, keeping service providers informed about payment status.
Ensure accuracy and adherence to agreed terms and budget by reviewing and approving invoices related to freight, customs handling, and transportation.
Coordination:
Align export consignments with customer orders and quality standards by collaborating with the marketing and quality departments.
Facilitate the export process by liaising with export inspection agencies and central excise officials.
Service Provider Development:
Expand the company's logistics network and capabilities by assisting in the development of new service providers.
Improve logistics operations by evaluating the performance of existing service providers and making recommendations for improvements or changes.
