Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role located in Bengaluru, with some work-from-home flexibility, for an Application Engineer specializing in robotics. The role involves providing technical support, assisting with software development, and contributing to the seamless integration of robotic solutions. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams on hardware and software integration, conducting tests, and offering subject-matter expertise on electrical and mechanical engineering aspects of robotics solutions. The successful candidate will help ensure the effective implementation and scaling of robotic systems across diverse industries.
Qualifications
- Strong technical support skills with an aptitude for problem-solving in real-world deployment environments.
- Proficiency in software development with knowledge applicable to robotics or automation systems.
- Background in electrical engineering for handling control systems and robotic sensors.
- Understanding of mechanical engineering concepts, including motion systems and structural design.
- Experience in testing and validating robotic systems to ensure reliability and safety.
- Collaborative approach and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams effectively.
- Diploma or Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Robotics, or related fields) is preferred.
- Experience in robotics integration, system commissioning, or related technical implementations is an advantage.
