Duties

• Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to company policies.
• Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to enhance performance and productivity.
• Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers and promote new items.
• Utilize Point of Sale (POS) systems for transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling and cashiering.
• Engage with customers to deliver exceptional service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Implement upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities during customer interactions.
• Maintain merchandising standards by organizing product displays and ensuring stock availability.
• Perform stocking duties, replenishing inventory as needed to meet customer demand.
• Utilize basic math skills for inventory management and retail math calculations.
• Foster a bilingual environment when necessary to accommodate diverse customer needs.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store operations is preferred.
• Supervising experience is highly desirable, demonstrating the ability to lead a team effectively.
• Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and team members.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems is required.
• Experience in merchandising and product demonstrations will be considered an asset.
