We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Payroll and Compliance Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll processes and ensure statutory and regulatory compliance across the organization.

  • Location: Prabhadevi, Mumbai
  • Payroll Management:
  • Process accurate and timely payroll for all employees on a monthly basis.
  • Maintain payroll records, timesheets, leave balances, and employee information.
  • Handle employee queries related to salaries, deductions, and payslips.
  • Coordinate with Finance and HR teams for monthly payroll inputs (e.g., new hires, exits, bonuses, variable pay, etc.).
  • Ensure correct deductions for taxes, insurance, retirement benefits, and other statutory obligations.
  • Reconcile payroll data with accounting and financial systems.
  • Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements (e.g., PF, ESI, TDS, minimum wages, etc. depending on country).
  • Prepare and file necessary government reports (monthly/quarterly/annual) on time.
  • Stay updated with regulatory changes affecting payroll and employment compliance.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits related to payroll and statutory compliance.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of internal policies related to payroll and compliance.
  • Process Improvement & Reporting:
  • Identify opportunities to streamline payroll and compliance processes.
  • Generate and present payroll and compliance reports to management.
  • Assist in implementing payroll systems or upgrades.
  • Requirements:
  • basic experience in payroll processing and statutory compliance.
  • Strong understanding of relevant employment laws and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks, Zoho Payroll, etc.).
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • High attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹500, ₹600,000.00 per year
