What project we have for you

Our client is a UK-based investment firm specializing in private and ublic markets, property finance, and growth capital for small and medium-sized Enterprises.

The project's main goal is to provide engineering capacity for the development and support of client's websites, software, CRM, and Power BI.

Our team is responsible for delivering a set of technology solutions to support client's digital presence and internal operations.

What you will do

  • **Design and maintain BI solutions, ensuring timely and accurate insights.
  • Build data models (schemas, KPIs, measures) to support reporting needs.
  • Develop interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.
  • Write DAX and Power Query transformations for advanced calculations.
  • Manage data refresh schedules, monitor performance, and ensure data quality.
  • Collaborate with data engineers on pipelines and integrations.
  • Perform data validation and optimize models for large datasets.
  • Provide user support and contribute to documentation.

What you need for this

Required skills:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).

  • Solid understanding of data modeling concepts (star schema, relationships, measures, KPIs) and working with relational databases.

  • Proficiency in SQL for data retrieval, manipulation, and analysis (Azure SQL, MS SQL Server, MySQL, Redshift, etc.).

  • Experience with ETL processes and data integration (Power Query, Azure Synapse Analytics, data pipelines).

  • Strong knowledge of DAX and Power Query M for calculations and transformations.

  • Previous experience with CRM (Dynamics 365 is preferable).

  • Previous experience with Cloud Service Providers (Azure is preferable).

  • Familiarity with requirement gathering and documentation, translating business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Excellent analytical, detail-oriented mindset, ensuring data accuracy and quality.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Will be a plus:

  • Experience with programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics.
