**Responsibilities**

**Curriculum Development & Instruction**
- Develop and implement engaging and rigorous lesson plans in alignment with the school’s curriculum and educational standards.
- Deliver lessons that challenge and inspire students, encouraging critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration.
- Use diverse teaching methods and technology to cater to the varied learning styles and abilities of students.

**Student Assessment & Feedback**
- Design and administer assessments (formative and summative) to evaluate student progress and learning outcomes.
- Provide timely, constructive feedback to students on assignments, tests, and projects.
- Track and maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavior, providing reports to parents and administration as required.

**Classroom Management & Environment**
- Establish and maintain a positive, organized, and respectful classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies that promote student engagement and responsibility.
- Foster a culture of respect, inclusivity, and teamwork in the classroom.

**Student Support & Differentiation**
- Identify students who need additional support and provide timely interventions to address academic or behavioral challenges.
- Adapt instructional methods and materials to meet the diverse learning needs of students, including those with special learning requirements.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to students in academic and personal development.

**Collaboration & Professional Development**
- Collaborate with other teachers, administrators, and staff to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
- Participate in regular faculty meetings, team planning sessions, and school-wide initiatives.
- Engage in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in teaching and curriculum design.

**Parent & Guardian Communication**
- Maintain open and regular communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress, successes, and areas for improvement.
- Organize and participate in parent-teacher conferences and school events as needed.
- Provide a supportive and approachable presence for students and their families.

**Extracurricular Activities & School Involvement**
- Contribute to the school community by participating in extracurricular activities, clubs, and events.
- Supervise students during school activities, field trips, and other non-classroom events.

**Other Duties**
- Assist with the preparation and organization of instructional materials and classroom resources.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times, adhering to school policies and guidelines.
- Support the school’s mission, vision, and values in daily interactions and responsibilities.

**Skills Description**

**Qualifications**:

- Valid teaching certification or licensure for middle school education.
- Previous experience teaching middle school students is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of middle school curricula and educational best practices.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction and support students of varying abilities.
- Enthusiastic, flexible, and creative, with a passion for teaching and student development.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents.
