**Key Responsibilities**:
**Curriculum Delivery**: Teach social studies to middle school students (Grades 6-8) in alignment with IB, IGCSE, CBSE, or Cambridge curriculum guidelines.

**Classroom Management**: Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and inquiry-based learning.

**Assessment & Evaluation**: Develop and conduct formative and summative assessments to track student progress and provide constructive feedback.

**Integration of Technology**: Use digital tools, multimedia, and interactive resources to enhance learning experiences.

**Student Engagement**: Encourage students to explore historical events, political systems, cultural diversity, and economic trends through discussions, debates, and projects.

**Professional Development**: Stay updated with the latest teaching strategies, curriculum changes, and educational best practices.

**Parental Communication**: Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress, behavior, and academic achievements.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in History, Political Science, Geography, Economics, or a related field.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching certification is preferred.
- Minimum 2-5 years of teaching experience in middle school (Grades 6-8), preferably in an IB, IGCSE, or Cambridge setting.
- Strong knowledge of social studies concepts and pedagogical techniques.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to incorporate interactive and inquiry-based teaching methods.
- Proficiency in using educational technology tools and digital learning platforms.
- Passionate about teaching and mentoring students.

**Skills Description**

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience teaching in an international school or multicultural environment.
- Familiarity with interdisciplinary teaching methods.
- Training or certification in IB/IGCSE methodologies (if applicable).
