Job Summary:

The Pharmacy Store Executive is responsible for managing and supervising all pharmacy store operations including inventory control, procurement coordination, stock verification, and ensuring the timely supply of medicines and consumables as per hospital requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of receipts, issues, and stock levels of drugs, surgical items, and consumables.
  • Supervise daily pharmacy store operations to ensure smooth functioning.
  • Monitor stock levels and prepare indents for replenishment in coordination with the Purchase Department.
  • Ensure proper storage conditions and handling of medicines as per regulatory standards.
  • Conduct periodic stock audits and reconcile physical stock with system entries.
  • Verify supplier invoices, purchase orders, and goods received notes for accuracy.
  • Coordinate with pharmacists and departments for timely issue and delivery of medicines.
  • Maintain expiry control by ensuring proper rotation of stock (FIFO/FEFO).
  • Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and hospital policies.
  • Prepare reports on consumption, shortages, and non-moving stock.
  • Assist in vendor management and quality checks of incoming materials.
  • Support internal and external audits with proper documentation.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: D.Pharm / B.Pharm / M.Pharm or Graduate with relevant experience.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of experience in pharmacy store operations (hospital or healthcare preferred).

Skills:

  • Knowledge of drug inventory management systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office / ERP or Hospital Management Software.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and coordination abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18, ₹25,000.00 per month
