Job Purpose:

Site Project In charge for upcoming depot projects and allied activities for Nayara Energy Limited.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Depot Construction

•    Provide inputs for preparation of estimates for individual projects.

•    Monitor daily construction activities.

•    Review drawings, QAPs, and other technical documents.

•    Approve and witness all project quality tests as per approved drawings and QAPs at site.

•    Endorse contractor bills based on executed work.

•    Conduct project review meetings with consultants and contractors.

•    Participate in review meetings with HO.

•    Ensure construction as per approved drawings and QAP; obtain necessary approvals for deviations.

•    Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and HO team for timely completion as per schedule.

•    Ensure compliance with safety practices and standards during construction.
 

2) Project Commissioning & Close-Out

•    Coordinate with S&D and other stakeholders for timely commissioning and handover of projects.
 

3) MIS

•    Appraise Project Manager and Head Infrastructure on project progress.
 

4) Process Development & Competency Enhancement

•    Update processes for infrastructure site team functioning.

•    Enhance competency and knowledge base of the team.
 

5) Team Building

•    Ensure required interaction, exposure, and training for team members.
 

6) Boundary Management

•    Coordinate with Railways, PESO, District Magistrate, Pollution Control Board, and other external agencies for site inspections.
 
 

Knowledge:

1) Qualification:

•    Graduation in Mechanical/Civil Engineering.

2) Experience:

•    Minimum 12 years, with at least 8 years at site handling construction and commissioning of terminals/depots or similar facilities.
 

Skills:

1) Technical/Functional Skills:

•    Knowledge of OISD standards, API/ASME/IS codes for tanks, piping, and valves.

•    Knowledge of electrical, factory, and labor rules.

•    Ability to interpret P&ID, plot plans, GADs, and civil drawings.

•    Proficiency in MIS preparation and MS Project reports.
 

2) Behavioural Skills:

•    Decision-making, risk management, negotiation, project management, change management, leadership, interpersonal skills, result orientation, and teamwork.
