About the Role

We are looking for a passionate Odoo Technical Developer to join our ERP development team.

You will be responsible for building, customizing, and integrating Odoo ERP modules using Python and modern development standards.

The role requires hands-on coding ability, a deep understanding of the Odoo ORM, and strong collaboration with functional consultants to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and customize Odoo modules (Sales, CRM, HR, Accounting, Inventory, Projects, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain Odoo backend logic, business workflows, and REST / GraphQL APIs.
  • Integrate Odoo with third-party systems (payment gateways, CRMs, e-commerce, etc.).
  • Create and optimize QWeb reports, views, and dashboards.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues across existing modules and custom code.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to define technical specifications.
  • Maintain version control (Git) and follow Agile/SCRUM delivery practices.
  • Contribute to performance tuning, data migrations, and upgrades to newer Odoo versions.

Required Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong proficiency in Python, XML, JavaScript (ES6+), and PostgreSQL.
  • In-depth understanding of Odoo ORM and MVC architecture.
  • Hands-on experience developing custom Odoo modules (v14 v17 preferred).
  • Familiarity with REST / SOAP APIs, JSON, and integration workflows.
  • Solid grounding in Linux environments (Ubuntu / Debian).
  • Knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Bonus: experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or deployments.
