Job Summary:

The Field Salesperson will be responsible for generating new business and maintaining relationships with existing clients by visiting customer locations. This role involves extensive travel within the assigned territory and requires a high degree of autonomy. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the sales process, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Territory Management:
    Manage and grow the sales territory by identifying and targeting new business opportunities within the region.
  • Client Visits:
    Conduct regular visits to current and potential clients to present products/services, understand customer needs, and build strong relationships.
  • Lead Generation:
    Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Product Demonstrations:
    Provide in-depth product or service demonstrations tailored to the needs of the customer.
  • Sales Negotiation:
    Negotiate terms of sale, including pricing, contracts, and delivery schedules, to close deals effectively.
  • Sales Reporting:
    Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress towards sales goals using CRM software.
  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with internal teams such as marketing, customer service, and product development to ensure customer needs are met and sales strategies are aligned.

Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
