About the Team
The Internal Communications team, part of the People Office, plays a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience by driving clear, consistent, and engaging communication across the organization. Partnering closely with all functions within the People Office, the team curates' impactful messages that inform, inspire, and align employees with the company's vision, values, and strategic goals.

About the Role
Internal Communications plays a key role in keeping employees engaged, informed, and connected to BIALs vision. To strengthen this function, we are looking for a creative and collaborative Internal Communications & Design Specialist who can manage employee communications end-to-end while also designing impactful visual assets for internal and external use.
This role will combine content development, stakeholder engagement, and creative design to ensure communication is clear, engaging, and consistent with BIALs brand guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute internal communication strategies.
- Support change management and culture-building initiatives.
- Ensure communication is inclusive, mindful, and accessible to all.
- Design and implement innovative communication methodologies.
- Uphold brand guidelines to maintain consistency and authenticity.
Role Objectives
- Develop and manage internal and external presentations.
- Create and execute internal communication campaigns including emailers, EDMs, newsletters, and posters.
- Design engaging digital assets such as social media graphics, Viva Engage posts, WhatsApp creatives, and short video content.
- Ensure brand consistency across all internal and employee-focused communication.
Key Responsibilities
Internal Communication Management
- Manage internal emails, newsletters, announcements, and communication requirements across departments.
- Ideate and execute campaigns in collaboration with in-house designers, content writers, and external agencies.
- Support employee engagement initiatives such as cultural, sports, and seasonal events with communication material.
- Ensure brand-aligned messaging across all platforms (email, intranet, social media, Viva Engage, etc.).
Creative Design & Content Development
- Design content that simplifies complex information into engaging formats such as presentations, infographics, templates, EDMs, and short videos.
- Create templates, charts, and data visualizations for leadership and departmental communications.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, HR, and Executive teams to align design with messaging.
- Working on multimedia creatives, ensuring outputs are innovative, visually appealing, and consistent with brand guidelines.
Stakeholder & Agency Management
- Partner with cross-functional teams gather requirements and deliver tailored communication solutions.
- Brief agencies for creative, photography, or filmmaking requirements and ensure timely, quality deliverables.
- Manage project budgets allocated for communication initiatives and agency work.
Innovation & Best Practices
- Stay updated with design and communication trends, tools, and technologies.
- Continuously enhance communication formats for greater employee engagement.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Keynote, Canva, Google Slides, and graphic design tools (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Experience with video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, VN Video Editor,InShot).
- Strong storytelling, writing, and layout design skills with an eye for detail.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for email design (preferred).
- Proven track record of managing internal communication campaigns and events.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills; ability to work with multiple departments.
- Strong command of English (written and verbal); knowledge of Hindi and Kannada is an advantage.
- Strong time management and multi-tasking ability.
