We have urgent hiring for Assistant Manager & Manager Vendor Development for our manufacturing division. The role involves developing reliable vendors, ensuring quality supply at competitive costs, and strengthening the supply chain to meet production and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors for raw materials, fabricated components, and bought-out items.
  • Conduct vendor audits, capability assessments, and performance evaluations.
  • Negotiate on cost, quality, and delivery timelines to optimize procurement.
  • Coordinate with production, quality, and design teams to ensure vendors meet technical specifications.
  • Maintain and update the Approved Vendor List (AVL).
  • Drive cost reduction, localization, and alternate sourcing strategies.
  • Build long-term partnerships with suppliers to ensure consistent material availability.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Degree/Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Production Engineering.
  • 8 to 12years of experience in vendor development / supplier sourcing in a manufacturing setup.
  • Strong knowledge of fabrication and electromechanical components sourcing.
  • Good negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.
