We have urgent hiring for Senior Engineer /Asst. Manager for Purchase & Vendor Development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and qualify new vendors for raw materials, components, and engineering products.
  • Conduct supplier evaluation audits covering quality systems, capacity, compliance, and technical capability.
  • Manage procurement activities including RFQ, comparative statements, negotiations, and finalization of purchase orders.
  • Ensure timely procurement of materials and components as per production/ project requirements.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives through product localization, alternate sourcing, and zero-base costing methods.
  • Monitor supplier performance on quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness.

Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of supplier development, sourcing, and procurement processes.
  • Experience in cost analysis, negotiation, and product localization.
  • Good understanding of quality standards, audits, and vendor capability assessment.

Qualification: Graduate in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics preferred). MBA in SCM will be an added advantage.

Experience: 4 to7 years in Purchase, Procurement, or Vendor Development (preferably in manufacturing / engineering industry).

Shift: 5-day work week, 10-hour shifts (Saturday and Sunday off)
