Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, efficient, and customer-focused Customer Service Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, resolving complaints, processing orders, and providing information about products and services in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or in-person.
Handle and resolve customer complaints with empathy and efficiency.
Provide accurate, valid, and complete information using the right methods and tools.
Process orders, forms, applications, and requests.
Maintain customer records by updating account information.
Follow up with customers to ensure their issues are resolved to their satisfaction.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
Identify and escalate priority issues to the appropriate channels.
Stay up to date with product knowledge, policies, and procedures.
Suggest improvements to processes to enhance the customer experience.
Qualifications & Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business, Communications, or related field is a plus.
Proven customer support experience or experience in a similar customer-facing role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to handle stressful situations and difficult customers with professionalism.
Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
Full-time position.
May involve rotating shifts, weekend, or holiday work depending on the company's hours of operation.
Primarily office-based, with some roles offering remote or hybrid options.
