Position - Digital Transformation Lead (Finance )
Work location –
Hybrid work model — Pune or Hyderabad.
- Education: Engineering Graduate (Computer Science/IT) / CA / MBA or equivalent.
- Experience: 15+ years of experience in finance digitalization, enterprise technology, or AI-led transformation in large-scale or multinational environments.
Prior experience in Finance IT leadership or Digital Finance roles within manufacturing, steel, or global industrial sectors preferred.
Digital Strategy & Roadmap
1.1. Design and drive a multi-year roadmap for digital transformation within Corporate Finance, aligned with business priorities and ArcelorMittal's global digital strategy.
1.2. Identify key opportunities for automation, AI/ML use cases, predictive analytics, and advanced visualization.
1.3. Evaluate build vs. buy decisions and integration opportunities with existing systems.
1.4. Technology consulting approach to bring out inefficiencies and provide solutions.
- Finance Process Optimization
2.1. Map and assess current finance processes (e.g., consolidation, forecasting, working capital, treasury) to identify efficiency gaps and technology enablement opportunities.
2.2. Collaborate with Finance team to harmonize processes and eliminate redundancies created by third-party dependencies/process inefficiency/bottlenecks.
2.3. Good exposure in technology consulting with respect to Finance Digitalization and Digitization.
- AI / Digital Enablement
3.1. Lead pilots and scale-up of AI-driven tools (e.g., intelligent reconciliations, cash flow forecasting, fraud detection, scenario modeling).
3.2. Ensure adoption of digital solutions that improve accuracy, speed, and decision-making in financial operations.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Change Leadership
4.1. Partner with Group Finance, IT, and Digital teams to ensure alignment and cross-functional integration.
4.2. Build business cases for investment, articulating ROI, productivity gains, and strategic impact.
4.3. Lead change management, capability building, and user adoption initiatives across finance teams globally.
- Governance & Best Practices
5.1. Establish governance frameworks for digital finance tools, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and scalability.
5.2. Bring in external benchmarks and best practices from industry leaders to strengthen ArcelorMittal's finance digital maturity.
Skills -
- Proven experience in digital transformation or AI/analytics enablement within finance.
- Deep domain expertise in corporate finance processes and systems.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate technology into business outcomes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across global and matrix organizations.
- Proficiency in tools such as SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Finance, Power BI, Python/R (for analytics), automation tools (RPA), and emerging AI platforms.
- Strategic mindset with operational execution capability.
