Job Title: Lead - Lending QA
Years of Experience: 7-9 years
Location: Bengaluru
Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Lead QA professional to join our Lending team and drive quality assurance initiatives across our lending ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have deep domain expertise in lending platforms including Loan Origination Systems (LOS), Loan Management Systems (LMS), and Lending Credit (LC) platforms. You will lead quality assurance efforts, mentor junior team members, and ensure robust testing practices across automated and manual testing frameworks. This role requires strong technical skills in API testing, automation frameworks, and the ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment.
What will you do?
Lead end-to-end testing of lending products including loan origination, underwriting, disbursement, and loan management processes
Design and implement comprehensive test strategies for LOS, LMS, and LC systems ensuring seamless integration and data flow
Drive automation initiatives using frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress to improve testing efficiency and coverage
Conduct thorough API testing for lending services, validating data integrity, security, and performance requirements
Mentor and guide junior QA team members, providing technical guidance and best practices in lending domain testing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and product managers to ensure quality deliverables
Establish and maintain quality metrics, test documentation, and reporting mechanisms for lending products
Identify and mitigate risks in the lending workflow through proactive testing and quality assurance measures
Stay updated with regulatory compliance requirements and ensure testing covers all compliance aspects
Lead defect triage sessions and drive resolution of critical issues impacting lending operations
What skills required?
Mandatory 7-9 years of experience in QA with strong focus on lending domain
Hands-on experience with Loan Origination Systems (LOS), Loan Management Systems (LMS), and Loan Closure (LC) processes
Proficiency in automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
Strong expertise in API testing tools and methodologies (Postman, REST Assured, etc.)
Deep understanding of lending workflows, credit assessment, risk management, and regulatory requirements
Experience with database testing and SQL queries for data validation
Knowledge of performance testing tools and methodologies would be desirable
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and test management tools
