IS Organizational Effectiveness Manager

What you will do

Let's do this. Let's change the world. In this you will be the senior individual contributor within Amgen's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Testing team. this role requires a highly skilled testing professional who can take end-to-end ownership of SAP ERP testing activities and design/implement automation solutions from scratch using industry-leading tools

Roles & Responsibilities:

Testing Ownership

• Perform the planning, preparation, and execution of test cases for SAP ERP programs, ensuring alignment with project and compliance requirements.
• Perform hands-on testing (both manual and automated) while driving quality outcomes for ERP releases.

Test Automation Leadership

• Design, build, and implement automation frameworks from scratch using tools like Selenium, Playwright, UFT/ALM, or equivalent.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize automated test scripts to increase efficiency and reduce release cycles.
• Champion adoption of automation practices within the team.

Quality and Compliance

• Ensure strict adherence to GxP and regulatory standards in all testing activities.
• Maintain traceability and documentation aligned with Amgen's compliance framework.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Work closely with cross-functional product teams to integrate Agile/SAFe practices into testing workflows.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement innovative testing solutions.
• Act as a mentor/guide for junior testers within the team.

Basic Qualifications:

Any degree and 8 to 13 years of Computer Science, IT or related field experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong expertise in SAP ERP testing, including experience in regulated industries (Life Sciences preferred).
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, UFT/ALM, or similar).
• Ability to design and implement automation frameworks from scratch.
• Proven ability to work independently as a senior IC, while taking ownership of testing deliverables.
• Familiarity with Agile / SAFe practices and experience embedding them into testing.
• Strong understanding of GxP compliance and validation processes.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Exposure to large-scale ERP implementations.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing integration.
• Knowledge of additional test automation or performance testing tools.

Professional Certifications :

• SAP certification (preferred)
• Any Automation tool certification (preferred)

Soft Skills:

• Strong capability to analyze complex issues and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborator interactions and documentation.
• High degree of precision in handling testing and testing documentation and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Ability to focus on team collaboration and achieving project goals.
