About the Role

Workforce Europe is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial operations and ensure accuracy in reporting for our India and Germany offices. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting skills, experience with compliance, and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, and financial records
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow
  • Handle payroll processing and employee reimbursements
  • Ensure compliance with Indian tax laws, GST, and TDS requirements
  • Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants
  • Prepare financial reports for German headquarters
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Support management with cost analysis and financial insights

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (CA/ICWA preferred)
  • 2-5 years of experience in accounting or finance
  • Strong knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software
  • Understanding of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting standards
  • Good communication skills in English and German knowledge till B2
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines
