MOTM Growth Consulting partners with SMEs and startups to accelerate their growth through a 360 approach across Management, Operations, Technology, and Marketing & Sales. As part of our consulting strategy, we are expanding to include specialized Startup Consultants who can guide entrepreneurs in building scalable businesses and preparing for investor engagement.

Role Overview

We are seeking Startup Consultants to work with MOTMs clients on a consulting basis. This role goes beyond fundraising—it covers the entire startup journey, including strategy, execution, and investor readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help client founders define and refine their business model, GTM strategy, and growth roadmap.
  • Support in building pitch decks, business plans, and investor narratives.
  • Advise on fundraising readiness and connect clients with relevant investors, accelerators, and networks.
  • Mentor client teams on operations, technology adoption, marketing, and scaling strategies.
  • Provide insights on competitive benchmarking, valuation, and market entry.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor who aligns startup goals with investor expectations.

Ideal Background

  • 7–12+ years in startup ecosystem roles (VC, accelerator, incubator, corporate strategy, or as a founder/early employee).
  • Strong network of investors, mentors, and ecosystem enablers.
  • Experience in fundraising, scaling, and operational excellence.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and mentoring skills.

Engagement Model

  • Consulting / advisor basis (flexible: project, retainer, or fractional).
  • Opportunity to work across multiple high-growth startups and SMEs via MOTM.
  • Compensation can include success-based incentives or equity participation in client ventures.
