Factory Accountant

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Factory Accountant to handle day-to-day accounting, cost control, and compliance functions in our manufacturing setup. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with factory accounts, stock management, and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain factory-level accounting records, ledgers, and vouchers
• Handle accounts payable/receivable, journal entries, and reconciliation
• Monitor raw material, WIP, and finished goods stock with accurate records
• Prepare MIS reports, cost analysis, and variance reports for management
• Assist in budgeting, cost control, and expense monitoring
• Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances
• Coordinate with auditors and internal teams for financial reporting
• Support payroll and statutory deductions (PF/ESIC) if required
• Maintain accuracy in production and dispatch-related documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (M.Com preferred)
• 3 years of experience in factory or manufacturing accounts
• Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / SAP / any ERP system
• Good understanding of GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, and compliance matters
• Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
