We are an integrated team of highly skilled experts with complementary skills who are working in the field of highway design and construction supervision and provide services in preparation of detailed project report including highway geometric design, pavement design, traffic safety and structure design; contract management and conflict resolution, project management consultancy.

We are looking for a General Manager Contracts to lead and drive successful execution. If you are a proactive leader with a passion for infrastructure and project excellence, we would love to have you on board

Designation: General Manager Technical

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

As an expert, competent with technical knowledge, hands on experience in execution of works, he/she will be responsible for overall monitoring, contractual compliance and quality delivery of the project.

  • Responsible for planning and executing projects, including monitoring and overseeing supervision of construction activities.
  • Provides technical support to project teams, resolving technical issues and ensuring that best practices are followed.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts (EPC, BOT, PPP, FIDIC) aligning with project, risk, and financial strategies.
  • Oversee contract execution, administration, and compliance with regulations, standards, and policies.
  • Ensuring that the projects meet quality standards and comply with relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Monitor project progress, quality, safety, and performance benchmarks through site assessments.
  • Resolve execution challenges, assess variations, EOTs, modifications and mitigate risks related to cost, delays, financial risk assessment and design changes.
  • Handle disputes, claims, assist in arbitration, and implement conflict resolution strategies.
  • Provide reports on risks, contract performance, and execution while supporting audits and legal compliance.
  • Lead team and carry out quantity estimation and value engineering for economical design.
  • Responsible for managing, developing, providing guidance, training, and mentoring as required.

Skills Required:

  • B.E (Civil) / M.E in Transportation Engineering or equivalent with relevant experience.
  • Possessing 18-25 years of expertise in highway design engineering, project execution, and supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, FIDIC conditions, and infrastructure policies.

    Execution expertise in managing on-site challenges, variations, delay analysis and claims.

    Proficiency in project management tools like Primavera P6 or MS Project.

    Ability to lead team and handle multi-stakeholder coordination, including government and private sector partners.
  • Contract Administration, Compliance, Negotiation, risk assessment, and dispute resolution skills.
  • Should possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities along with excellent negotiation and communication skills.
