About the Role
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented
HR Manager
to take ownership of day-to-day HR operations while contributing to the strategic growth of our organization. As a real estate company, our business thrives on strong sales teams, efficient project staff, and motivated support functions — and the HR Manager will play a critical role in attracting, retaining, and developing this talent pool.
The role requires someone who can balance
recruitment, compliance, employee engagement, and performance management
, while serving as a bridge between employees and management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Drive full-cycle recruitment for diverse roles including sales executives, site engineers, marketing professionals, customer relationship managers, and corporate staff.
- Develop and maintain a strong candidate pipeline using job portals, social media, consultants, referrals, and networking within the real estate sector.
- Conduct initial screening, schedule interviews, and coordinate with department heads for final selection.
- Ensure recruitment timelines are met without compromising on quality.
- Maintain and track recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and retention rate.
2. Onboarding & Induction
- Design and deliver structured onboarding programs tailored to different functions (sales, site, back office).
- Conduct orientation sessions to align new hires with company policies, processes, and culture.
- Ensure smooth integration of employees through buddy programs and probation review processes.
3. Performance Management
- Assist in implementing performance management systems (KRA/KPI based for sales & site staff).
- Support managers in conducting quarterly and annual performance reviews.
- Monitor underperformance cases and recommend corrective actions or training interventions.
- Collect, analyze, and report performance data to management for decision-making.
4. Training & Development
- Identify skill gaps through performance reviews and employee feedback.
- Coordinate training workshops on sales techniques, customer handling, compliance, and soft skills.
- Track training effectiveness through assessments and follow-ups.
- Collaborate with external trainers or institutes for specialized programs.
5. HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain accurate employee records, attendance, leave management, and HR databases.
- Handle payroll inputs and coordinate with the finance team to ensure error-free salary disbursement.
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws (PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Shops & Establishment Act, POSH, etc.).
- Prepare HR MIS reports (attrition, headcount, hiring status) for management review.
6. Employee Engagement & Culture Building
- Plan and execute engagement initiatives (festivals, recognition programs, team activities).
- Build communication channels that promote transparency and trust.
- Conduct regular feedback sessions and employee satisfaction surveys.
- Develop reward & recognition programs for sales achievements, project milestones, and loyalty.
7. Employee Relations & Grievance Handling
- Act as the go-to HR contact for employee queries and issues.
- Handle grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary actions with sensitivity and fairness.
- Support in exit processes (resignation, clearance, exit interviews) and analyze attrition patterns.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5–8 years of HR experience (real estate, construction, or sales-driven industries preferred).
- Strong knowledge of HR operations, talent acquisition, and compliance.
- Hands-on experience in payroll coordination and HRMS tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong problem-solving ability with attention to detail.
