We are inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager, Procurement – Category Management
We are looking for a Procurement Specialist who will be responsible to research and resolve inquiries relating to Accounts Payable, Procurement Operations, Supplier queries and Product Ordering. 
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for all the activities related to Procurement domain.

•    Implement and Refine sourcing strategies through strong technical/functional knowledge, in support of the business' short-term and long-term plans. Has deep understanding of key strategic sourcing functions (RFI, RFP, RFQ, supplier selection, market intelligence, business partner management, contract management, negotiations, etc.)

•    Achieve defined category performance targets; hold vendors accountable to performance agreements and implement course corrections and mitigation strategies as needed

•    Build and strengthen strategic relationships\: optimally partner across functions and levels with internal stakeholders, external suppliers, Legal, Finance, and Other teams to drive results and inspire change

•    Demonstrate strong influencing skills to define Strategic Sourcing's role and align objectives and targets with partners, including senior leadership

•    Provide guidance and mentorship on Strategic Sourcing technical knowledge to junior team members

•    Balance speed and urgency with cost savings in vendor negotiations.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications

•    Master's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related discipline or advanced degree preferred.

•    Relevant work experience
Preferred qualifications

•    Meaningful experience in a dynamic sourcing organization in planning and leading negotiations.

•    Should have handled all the Non- IT categories. 

•    Proficiency in MS Excel, Power point, Data Analysis.

•    Expert understanding of category management, marketing and sales.

•    Familiarity with ERP tools will be an added advantage
