As a Curriculum Developer for the English Language and Communication Skills department, your role will involve developing effective and engaging academic curriculum and content. You will need to have a deep understanding of the English language and align content with industry standards such as the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Your meticulous and proactive approach will be essential in creating content that facilitates effective learning outcomes. Collaboration with multiple teams and a focus on innovative learning resources will be key aspects of this role. - Develop comprehensive and engaging English language curricula and educational content aligned with CEFR and industry standards. - Plan and oversee the development of academic content enhancing language acquisition across proficiency levels. - Ensure quality, accuracy, and relevance of content with a focus on grammar, contextual functionality, and clarity. - Collaborate with the HOD and stakeholders to align educational materials with departmental goals. - Stay updated with teaching methodologies and adapt content to meet modern pedagogical needs. - Contribute to designing assessments evaluating language skills in alignment with learning objectives. - Mentor junior curriculum developers, providing feedback and guidance on best practices and content creation techniques. - At least 6 years of experience in academic content development or curriculum design in the English language domain. - High level of language proficiency, with a minimum of C1 level in English (spoken and written). - Experience in developing language content adhering to CEFR standards and other industry benchmarks. - Keen eye for grammar, punctuation, and contextual functionality. - Strong understanding of teaching methodologies supporting diverse learning styles. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills for cross-departmental collaboration. - Ability to adapt to new teaching trends in a dynamic educational environment. - Logical and analytical thinking for structuring content with clear learning outcomes. - Focused, meticulous, and proactive approach to delivering high-quality content within deadlines.
