Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Expert with a solid IT infrastructure background to join our team as a Level 3 Cloud Expert. This individual will be responsible for architecting, designing, implementing, and supporting our cloud infrastructure and services. The role will also encompass overseeing cloud security, budget management, and ensuring optimal resource utilization. The ideal candidate will bring 10-15 years of experience in IT infrastructure with deep expertise in cloud technologies and services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cloud Architecture & Design:

o Lead the design and architecture of scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions.

o Evaluate and select appropriate cloud services based on technical and business requirements.

1. Implementation & Migration:

o Oversee the seamless deployment, integration, and migration of on-premises infrastructure to cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

1. Cloud Security:

o Implement and enforce cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and disaster recovery planning.

o Collaborate with security teams to address vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).

1. Cloud Operations & Support:

o Provide ongoing support and optimization for cloud infrastructure, ensuring operational reliability and performance.

o Troubleshoot and resolve issues with cloud services.

1. Cost Optimization & Budgeting:

o Manage and optimize cloud resource allocation to meet financial objectives and reduce costs.

o Provide insights and recommendations on budget planning and financial forecasting for cloud services.

1. Collaboration:

o Work closely with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Security, Operations) to ensure smooth integration of cloud services into overall business infrastructure.

1. Documentation & Training:

o Develop detailed documentation on cloud solutions, configurations, and procedures.

o Provide training and guidance to internal teams on best practices for cloud service usage.

1. Continuous Improvement:

o Stay informed on the latest cloud technologies and trends, recommending new tools and methodologies to enhance infrastructure services.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

· Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

· Experience: 10-15 years in IT infrastructure, with at least 5 years specializing in cloud architecture, design, and implementation.

· Cloud Platforms: Expertise in AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

· Cloud Security: Strong knowledge of cloud security practices, identity management, encryption, and regulatory compliance.

· Cloud Migration: Proven experience in migrating on-premises infrastructure to the cloud.

· Cost Management: Expertise in cloud cost management and optimization.

· Networking & Virtualization: In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, load balancing, and virtualization technologies.

· Operating Systems: Proficiency in both Linux and Windows systems with experience in scripting and automation (Bash, PowerShell).

· Certifications: Cloud-related certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect) preferred.

· Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud solutions.

· Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices.

· Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
