Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Accountant with a proven track record in accounting, tax compliance, and financial management. This role demands extensive expertise in domestic and international financial operations and leadership capabilities to guide a team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Balance Sheet Management

  2. Conduct detailed reviews of balance sheets to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

  3. TDS Compliance

  4. Oversee and ensure timely and accurate filing of TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) returns.

  5. GST Filing and Reconciliation

  6. Manage GST filings and perform precise reconciliations of GST accounts to ensure compliance.

  7. Inward and Outward Remittance Management

  8. Handle foreign remittance processes, ensuring compliance with RBI regulations.

  9. Knowledge of Forms 15CA and 15CB

  10. Prepare and file Forms 15CA and 15CB for international transactions as per statutory requirements.

  11. General Accounting Functions

  12. Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes, ensuring operational excellence.

  13. Financial Reporting

  14. Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to maintain regulatory compliance and accurate reporting.

  15. Internal Controls

  16. Develop and implement robust internal control policies and procedures to safeguard financial assets.

  17. Financial Forecasting and Budgeting

  18. Provide strategic insights and support for financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting activities.

  19. Team Leadership

  20. Lead, mentor, and develop junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.

  21. Audit Collaboration

  22. Work closely with external auditors and regulatory authorities to facilitate seamless audits and compliance.

  23. Regulatory and Best Practices Compliance

  24. Stay abreast of changes in financial regulations, standards, and best practices to ensure organizational compliance.

  25. Strategic Financial Support

  26. Assist in strategic decision-making through in-depth financial analysis and reporting.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: Minimum 20+ years of experience in accounting, tax compliance, and financial management.
  • Education: Masters degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA/CPA/CMA preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of TDS, GST, international remittances, and financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
  • Proficiency in accounting software [e.g., Tally Prime,
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor a team.
