Job Title: Project Management Officer (PMO)
Location: Bangalore, Pune, Gurgaon
Job Description:
As an experienced Project Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing and guiding
projects from initiation to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered
on time, within scope, and on budget while maximizing quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Execution:
- Lead the planning and execution of projects, ensuring alignment with strategic
goals.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior
management and stakeholders.
2. Financial Management and Cost Control:
- Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure financial
accountability.
- Develop accurate project cost estimates and forecasts.
- Regularly report on financial performance and variances to senior leadership.
3. Team Leadership and Communication:
- Lead cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and high
performance.
- Conduct regular stakeholder meetings to update on project progress and resolve
issues.
- Serve as the main point of contact for project-related communication.
4. Risk Management:
- Identify, analyze, and manage project risks to minimize potential impacts.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
5. Resource Management:
- Allocate and manage resources efficiently to optimize project delivery.
- Monitor team performance and implement improvements as needed.
6. Quality Assurance and Process Improvement:
- Ensure that projects meet established quality standards and deliver expected
outcomes.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and drive continuous
improvement.
7. Mentoring and Knowledge Sharing:
- Mentor junior project managers and project team members.
- Share knowledge and best practices to enhance team capabilities and project
delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or a related field. A masters degree or
relevant certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
- 3-7 years of professional experience in project management, with a proven track record
of successfully managing complex projects.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best
practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, or similar).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
