Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Information Technology Support Engineer to join our dynamic team in Ahmedabad. This full-time position requires a minimum of one to three years of relevant work experience. The ideal candidate will support our IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth and efficient technology operations crucial to our continued excellence and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in networking protocols is critical for day-to-day network management and configuration (Mandatory skill).
  • Strong understanding of computer hardware is essential for diagnosing and resolving technical issues (Mandatory skill).
  • Experience with Windows Server is necessary for maintaining and managing server operations.
  • Ability to troubleshoot various IT-related issues effectively to minimize downtime and disruptions.
  • Proficient in using help desk software to track and manage technical support requests efficiently.
  • Familiarity with the ITIL framework to improve IT service delivery and management processes.
  • Experience in configuring and managing VPNs to ensure secure remote access for users.
  • Competence in computer hardware troubleshooting to offer first-line support for technical hardware issues.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support to Shital Motors employees, resolving hardware and software issues promptly.
  • Maintain and monitor the company network, ensuring optimal performance and security at all times.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade computer systems and network devices to keep the IT environment current.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement strategic plans to improve network functionality and efficiency.
  • Document and track reported technical issues and solutions to enhance the IT support knowledge base.
  • Assist in managing IT assets, ensuring proper inventory and lifecycle management of equipment.
  • Stay updated with the latest technology trends to suggest improvements and innovations in IT operations.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on new applications and IT policies to enhance user understanding and capability.
