Position Overview:

Vaish Industries is looking for a skilled and experienced Die Fitter to join our manufacturing team. The Die Fitter will be responsible for assembling, maintaining, and repairing dies and other tooling components. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in operating various machinery and tools, including grinding, turning, lathe operations, tapping, and drilling, and should possess a strong understanding of precision fitting and alignment.

Roles and Responsibilities: TOOL ROOM

Die Fitting and Assembly: (SHEET METAL)

  • Assemble, fit, and align dies and tooling components accurately to meet production requirements.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair dies and tooling to ensure efficient operation and minimize downtime.

Machining Operations:

  • Perform grinding operations to achieve high-quality finish and precision for die components.
  • Operate lathe and turning machines for shaping and forming die parts.
  • Conduct drilling and tapping tasks as required in die assembly and modification.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

  • Regularly inspect dies for wear, damage, or misalignment and make necessary adjustments.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure longevity and reliable performance.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and modifications.

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Work closely with production and engineering teams to meet quality standards and production timelines.
  • Follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

Quality Control:

  • Ensure die components meet specifications and are aligned for precision and efficiency.
  • Use measurement tools to check tolerances and make adjustments to achieve desired results.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: 5-6 years of experience as a Die Fitter or Tool Fitter in a manufacturing environment.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in grinding,
  • Turning,
  • Lathe operations,
  • Tapping, and drilling.
  • Strong understanding of die assembly,
  • Alignment, and precision fitting.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

Other Skills:

  1. Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
  2. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  3. Knowledge of safety practices and guidelines in a manufacturing setting.
