Assistant Soft Services Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervision & Coordination:

  • Assist in managing soft services teams (housekeeping, security, front office, etc.).

  • Ensure proper scheduling and adequate manpower coverage across all shifts.

  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers to maintain service quality.

  • Service Quality & Standards:

  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and service standards are met.

  • Implement SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for all soft service functions.

  • Address and resolve service-related complaints promptly.

  • Vendor & Staff Management:

  • Monitor performance of outsourced vendors and in-house staff.

  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms and quality benchmarks.

  • Support training and onboarding of soft services personnel.

  • Health, Safety & Compliance:

  • Ensure all soft service areas comply with health, safety, and environmental standards.

  • Support in audits and documentation related to soft services.

  • Reporting & Documentation:

  • Maintain daily/weekly reports on cleaning, security, waste management, etc.

  • Assist in budgeting and cost control of soft services operations.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with housekeeping and soft service management software/tools
  • Basic understanding of HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Facility Management, or related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in soft services or facility management
  • Experience with vendor management and service level monitoring
