About the Role:

We are looking for a qualified and proactive
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
to oversee the maintenance and smooth running of our production plant equipped with
extruders, roasters, pulverizers, and boilers
. The ideal candidate will ensure maximum equipment uptime, preventive maintenance planning, and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle day-to-day maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment such as extruders, roasters, pulverizers, and boilers.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities and spare parts inventory.
  • Coordinate with the production team to minimize downtime.
  • Supervise fitters, technicians, and support staff during breakdowns and overhauls.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance within a process or manufacturing plant.
  • Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, bearings, gearboxes, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and troubleshoot independently.
  • Good communication and team coordination skills.
