Role Overview

We are looking for a Data Privacy Lead with strong hands-on experience in
technical implementation of privacy frameworks
,
global privacy standards
, and
enterprise-wide policy implementation
. The ideal candidate should be able to lead privacy programs, implement controls, manage compliance initiatives, and work closely with global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end implementation of global data privacy frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, ISO 27701, etc.).
  • Oversee privacy impact assessments (PIA/DPIA), data flow mapping, and gap assessments.
  • Manage technical implementation of privacy controls across applications, infrastructure, and cloud.
  • Drive creation, rollout, and maintenance of privacy policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
  • Collaborate with IT, InfoSec, Legal, Product, and Business teams to ensure compliance.
  • Lead incident response for privacy breaches and coordinate remediation with technical teams.
  • Implement and monitor data subject rights (DSR/DSAR) mechanisms.
  • Conduct vendor privacy risk assessments and oversee third-party compliance.
  • Train teams on privacy standards, policies, and best practices.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards for leadership and global audit reviews.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8–14+ years of experience in Data Privacy & Protection.
  • Strong expertise in global privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, CPRA, PDPA, ISO 27701, etc.).
  • Technical understanding of data classification, encryption, access controls, DLP, IAM, and cloud privacy.
  • Proven experience implementing privacy tooling (e.g., OneTrust, BigID, ).
  • Experience leading privacy governance, policy rollout, and enterprise-wide privacy programs.
  • Strong stakeholder communication and team leadership skills.
  • Industry certifications preferred:
    CIPT, CIPP/E, CIPM, ISO 27701 Lead Auditor/Implementer
