Job Description: NEC Engineer/Consultant Role: NEC Telephony Engineer/Consultant

Location: Hyderabad

Role Objective:

The objective of this role is to provide expert-level support, design, implementation, and management of NEC telephony and unified communications systems, including PBX, VOIP, and Contact Center solutions. The candidate will work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of NEC-based telephony infrastructure across multiple enterprise environments in India.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and configure NEC telephony systems, including NEC PBX (e.g., NEC SV9100, NEC SV8100) and NEC unified communications platforms.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for complex issues related to NEC VOIP and NEC telecom infrastructure.

• Administer and maintain existing NEC environments, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security.

• Manage and support NEC Contact Center solutions, including call routing, reporting, and agent desktop applications.

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and develop effective telephony solutions.

• Create and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, processes, and support procedures.

• Conduct system upgrades and migrations to ensure the environment is running on the latest software versions.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an engineer, consultant, administrator, architect, or support specialist with NEC PBX or NEC telephony systems.

• Demonstrable expertise in NEC unified communications platforms, including the NEC SV9100 or NEC SV8100.

• Strong knowledge of NEC VOIP technology and protocols.

• Experience in configuring and troubleshooting NEC Contact Center solutions.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Preferred Qualifications:

• NEC certifications (e.g., NEC Certified Engineer).

• Experience with other telecommunications technologies and platforms

• Familiarity with network infrastructure components, including routers, switches, and firewalls.

• Knowledge of scripting and automation for system administration tasks.

• Experience working in a managed services or customer-facing support role.
