About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with a strong background in switchgear and electrical enclosure design. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in creating detailed mechanical layouts, ensuring designs meet functional, safety, and manufacturability requirements, and compliance with North American standards such as IEEE, NEC, and IEC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop LV/MV switchgear enclosures, panels, and assemblies, including sheet metal structures, mechanisms, and busbar layouts.
  • Create and review 3D CAD models, fabrication drawings, and BOMs using industry-standard software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or equivalent).
  • Ensure all designs adhere to relevant industry standards, North American codes, and regulations (e.g., IEEE, NEC, IEC, UL, CSA).
  • Collaborate with electrical and manufacturing teams to ensure optimal electro-mechanical integration and product reliability.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, design change records, and design review reports.

Pay: ₹45, ₹85,000.00 per month
