**Industrial Control Panel Designer/Drafter**
- Create original layouts, assembly drawings, and detail drawings for industrial control panels using CAD software.
- Prepare wiring diagrams, schematics, cable schedules, and equipment lists.
- Select appropriate electrical components from preferred manufacturers.
- Ensure designs adhere to industry standards like UL508a, NEC, and ANSI Y14.
- Work with engineers and other professionals to integrate technical requirements and ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and release fully developed drawings into internal data management systems.
- Review engineering drawings, including those supplied by vendors, for consistency with drafting standards.
- Analyze and resolve design challenges, considering factors like space constraints, electrical load, and safety requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD & EPLAN), electrical drafting standards, and industry regulations.
- Knowledge: Understanding of electrical systems, control panel design, and relevant standards like NEMA, NEC, UL, and IEC.
- Communication: Ability to communicate technical information effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to analyze and resolve design challenges and technical issues.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and design.
- Experience: Relevant experience in electrical drafting, control panel design, or industrial automation is preferred.
