Role:
Technical Manager - Materials Analysis & QA
Location: Mumbai (Full-time on-site at Head Office & Laboratory)
Experience: 10+ years in materials testing/analysis (chemicals, construction, or industrial sectors)
Compensation: ₹40–60 LPA (commensurate with expertise) + performance benefits
Core Responsibilities
- In-Depth Analysis: Study sample test data, lab reports, and supplier certifications to validate compliance.
- Supplier Benchmarking: Compare lab results across suppliers to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and risk mitigation.
- Technical Accountability: Own end-to-end material validation, testing methodologies, and compliance audits.
- Lab Collaboration: Work closely with our in-house laboratory team to oversee testing protocols and equipment calibration.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with Product Development & Procurement teams to translate technical insights into actionable strategies.
Required Qualifications
Advanced Degree (MSc/MTech/PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field).
10+ years' hands-on experience in laboratory analysis, quality control, or materials R&D.
Expertise in testing equipment (e.g., FTIR, HPLC, UTM, rheometers, mechanical testers).
Proven ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and drive data-backed decisions.
Strong communication skills to align technical teams and stakeholders.
