• JOB PURPOSE

(Provide an overview of the job, its context in the organization and the contribution that it makes)

• Provide high quality maintenance of civil infrastructure with special focus on economical and effective maintenance.
• Support Maintenance Manager in achieving desired serviceability levels of all civil systems on a 24x7 basis.
• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations while carrying out the above functions.
• Documentation such as estimation, measurements, progress tracking, billing etc.

• Effective supervision of works being executed through outsourced agencies.

• PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Accountabilities

Major Activities

Supervising a pool of skilled and semi-skilled workers insourced and outsourced, carrying out maintenance task. Preparation of proposals, costing, supervision billing etc. for capital expenditure and other improvement works. Supporting quality assurance initiatives. Coordination required for ongoing projects.

• Make periodic inspection of assigned facilities to determine condition.
• Diagnose the problems and initiates necessary action.
• Plans and schedule routine maintenance, establishes work priorities.
• Perform complex repair and maintenance task,
• Supervise a staff of skilled and semi-skilled workers in such maintenance duties as painting, carpentry, masonry, cement work, water proofing works, and general upkeep involving structures, furnishings, equipment, floorings, grid ceiling, plumbing and related systems.
• Maintains checklists, documents and records of maintenance activity, and prepare simple daily report.
• Ensure the safety measures and regulations as per Airport standards.
• Coordinate building and maintenance activities within the division and with other divisions and departments.
• Checking Bills and verifying Quantity of the awarded works.
• Supporting quality assurance team by attending all observations, giving regular feedbacks etc.

• Documentation/coordination required for project works.

• Delivery of CAPEX and OPEX works within time and required quality.

• Maintaining serviceability of civil infrastructures above 99.5%

• Daily handling Team of workers like Carpenters, Plumbers, Sewer men, Mesons, and helper who involved in corrective & preventive maintenance.

5.1. Education qualification and certifications (Indicate the level of education and certifications required)

• Diploma / BE /B. Tech / M. Tech in Civil Engineering.

5.2. Years of Experience (Years of relevant experience required)

• 8 years of total experience (Diploma) / 6 years of total experience (BE/B. Tech) / 4 years of total experience (M. Tech) with a deep understanding of Construction / maintenance activities out of which 2 years of experience as a Project Engineer of a medium sized company and experience in Civil construction and maintenance

5.3. Computer skills (Indicate the required knowledge on software, applications, hardware etc., that are required)

• Proficiency in - MS office, AutoCAD, SAP

5.4. Knowledge and work skills [Indicate what knowledge (machines, equipment, processes, systems etc.,) and work skills are required]

• Knowledge on the maintenance tools & equipment's
