Role Description As a Gemstone Buyer at Sheetal Jewellery House LLP, you will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and evaluating a variety of precious and semi-precious gemstones such as diamonds, rubies, emeralds, and sapphires. This full-time, on-site role requires that you work closely with the design and production teams to determine the best selection of gemstones to match the needs and expectations of our customers. This role is located in Mumbai.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or comparable work experience
  • Excellent knowledge of gemstone identification and grading
  • Demonstrated experience in purchasing, sourcing, or sales of gemstones
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Familiarity with applicable regulations and ethical sourcing principles is a plus
  • Certificate in Gemology or membership in the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) is also a plus
