We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Creative Designer with exceptional hand sketching abilities and a deep understanding of the Indian domestic jewellery market. The ideal candidate should possess a strong aesthetic sense, market awareness, and the ability to lead and influence design directions through innovative, trend-right concepts tailored for Indian consumers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Innovation:

Create original, culturally relevant diamond jewellery designs for the domestic market, blending traditional and contemporary styles.

  • Sketching & Conceptualization:

Translate ideas into detailed hand sketches and renderings with accuracy and visual appeal.

  • Market Analysis:

Conduct ongoing research on regional trends, festivals, wedding seasons, and buyer behaviors to inform design direction.

  • Collection Development:
  • Develop thematic collections and capsule lines that appeal to diverse Indian demographics and regions.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with product development, merchandising, and marketing teams to ensure alignment from concept to final product.
  • Mentorship:

Guide junior designers and provide creative direction to enhance team output.

  • Client Interaction (if applicable):

Collaborate with retail or B2B clients to develop custom designs or modify existing concepts.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • Degree/Diploma in Jewellery Design / Applied Arts / Fine Arts or relevant field
  • 6- 10 years of jewellery design experience, preferably in diamonds jewellery
  • Portfolio must include hand sketches and diamond jewellery collections for the Indian market

Key Skills & Attributes:

  • Outstanding hand sketching and visualization skills
  • In-depth understanding of domestic jewellery trends and consumer preferences
  • Strong knowledge of gemstones, precious metals, and traditional techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in design software (CorelDRAW, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)
