Prayoga Institute of Education Research is a not-for-profit education research institute based in Bangalore

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in digital and offline outreach efforts and other Prayoga initiatives
  • Create compelling content for social media, newsletters, blogs, and press releases
  • Support communications with partner organisations, media contacts, and sponsors
  • Contribute to the design and coordination of marketing materials (basic design skills are an asset)
  • Develop and support donor engagement plans, including outreach and follow-up communications
  • Track outreach impact and maintain detailed communication records
  • Collaborate with educators, designers, and researchers to communicate Prayoga's vision effectively
  • Run online campaigns to raise awareness and engagement for Prayoga's initiatives
  • Draft or customise with the help of master content for each proposal
  • Validate budget/create custom budget
  • Review & send donor reports periodically
  • Support with engaging with donors/run campaigns
  • Good communication skills
  • Attention to detail with numbers & proposals

Qualifications:

  • Minimum
    2 to 4 years
    of experience in Outreach
  • Graduation / Master's in Journalism / Communications, Public Relations, or related fields
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and knowledge of Kannada will be desirable
  • Proficient with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
  • Familiarity with tools like Canva, MS Office, Mailchimp, and Outlook
  • Strong interest in education, science, or sustainability is highly desirable
  • Organised, self-motivated, and eager to learn
