Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a WLAN Test Engineer based at our Chennai office. The WLAN Test Engineer will perform tasks such as testing wireless local area network (WLAN) protocols, developing test cases and frameworks, executing test plans, and analyzing results. The role involves troubleshooting and debugging network issues to ensure optimal performance, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues. The engineer will contribute to producing high-quality deliverables aligned with project goals and timelines.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of WLAN protocols, networking concepts, and wireless communication
  • Experience in developing test cases, test frameworks, and debugging complex systems
  • Proficiency in tools and technologies used for network troubleshooting and scripting
  • Solid knowledge of testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and quality assurance processes
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in team-oriented environments and manage multiple tasks
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CWNP, or equivalent are a plus
  • Educational background in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical fields
